Toronto FC’s MLS flagship player, Federico Bernardeschi, showcased his talents on the pitch by scoring an ‘Olympic’ goal from the corner kick during this weekend’s match against Charlotte FC.

As soon as the match started, Toronto FC sought to assert its locality and for this they went against the rival, with key offensive arrivals, one of them being the one that would end in the key corner.

To execute the shot Bernardeschi took the ball as he was the owner of the ball stopped by the Canadians and with an impeccable left foot he made the ball do a parabola inwards and ended up entering the goal defended by the American George Marks.

After the great goal that entered the furthest post of the rival goal, the teammates went to celebrate with Bernardeschi and with the fans who were located in the stands.

Despite the fact that the score came in the early stages of the game (minute 6′), Toronto FC was unable to achieve victory by equalizing 2-2 in regulation time, to situate itself in ninth position in the Eastern Conference in the MLS, with seven units product of a win, four draws and a loss.
