The actress Anne Hathaway is the face of the recent Versace campaign for the Icon capsule, this at the decision of the designer Donatella Versace.
This collection extols the sophisticated style of the Italian firm, which is represented in pieces such as blazers, pants, in straight and flare cuts, and mini skirts.
The campaign contains photographs taken by British duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, who have also provided other images for the brand on previous occasions.
Among the pieces that Anne Hathaway models is a corset that clings to the waist in the shape of a “V”, whose construction helps to emphasize the silhouette. This piece has metallic details, characteristic of the firm, as well as adjustable straps.
In addition to the corset, the actress models an elegant tailored suit made up of dark pants and a blazer. Although the capsule concentrates elegance, it also has other timeless clothing, footwear and accessories for women.
Through his social networks, the Hollywood star announced that Donatella Versace herself, designer of the firm, was the one who approached him for the capsule.
“When the brilliant and talented Donatella Versace approached me for this campaign, she shared her vision for a timeless collection with the brand. She said that she wanted to focus on pieces designed to be a cherished part of our wardrobe, enjoyed outside of the trend cycle, worn over and over again throughout your life. I thought this was a fantastic idea, and I am so proud, grateful and excited to be included in this iconic family,” Hathaway wrote.
