This Monday the former president of the United States, Donald Trump boarded a plane to land at the end of the afternoon in New York to appear before the justice of that state. The leader of the Republican party left Palm Beach in Florida to hear his charges in the case of payments to porn actress Stormy Daniels in 2016.
Trump made the trip aboard his Boeing 757, which had been parked for days at Palm Beach International Airport. Long before the trial, the former president was living in his house located in Mar-a-Largo, where he is expected to pronounce after reading his accusation. More than 200 people with signs and flags cheered as Trump left his residence.
So far it is not known what Trump will talk about in Florida after his return, nor if the declaration will take place on Tuesday. Joe Tacopina, Trump’s lawyer, assured last week that so far Trump will not be handcuffed once he steps on New York soil.
It is known that Trump must appear before the judge at 2:45 pm, New York time, for more than thirty charges, all related to the payment to Daniels of $130,000 dollars. According to his lawyer, it is expected that the day that former President Trump will have to appear, the security forces will close the streets around the courts, in Lower Manhattan and that the courts will also close.
Regarding this case, the current president of the United States, Joe Biden, avoided commenting on the case of Donald Trump. “I have no comment on Trump,” he told reporters at the White House.
