“my-friends-don't-touch-each-other”:-jose-mourinho-asked-roma-fans-not-to-insult-rival-coaches

The coach of Roma, José Mourinho, has surprised everyone in Serie A with a great gesture that he had with his fellow coaches from other teams.

It all started when Roma fans started chanting racist chants against the Sampdoria coach, Dejan Stankovic, because of his gypsy origin.

Immediately the Portuguese coach got up from the bench and signaled to the fans so that they would not continue insulting Stankovic.

The most particular thing of all is that the fans listened to him and stopped shouting the offensive chants, a gesture that will surely go down in history.

“I did it for a great man and a great friend. He has children and a family, and that’s not pretty,” Mourinho said at a post-match press conference.

“Our fans are great, but my friends don’t touch each other,” he added.

Stankovic thanked Mou for the gesture, and clarified that insults from fans don’t affect him. “I am proud to be. Thank you Mourinho for placating them, but he knows that this doesn’t affect me”.
