skier-rescues-man-who-was-buried-in-snow-on-washington-mountain

In early March, a man named Francis Zuber was cornered on Mount Baker, Washington state, when he suddenly ran into something strange while descending, never thinking it would save someone’s life.

In a video that was captured by a body camera that Zuber was wearing, you can see when he decides to stop because he noticed a strange glow that emerged from the snow. That was how he noticed that it was a snowboard.

Seconds later, the object began to move, so he quickly began to dig in the snow, discovering that a person was buried under it.

“Shit, are you okay?” Francis asks as he sees the board move. “Wait, I’m coming,” he added.

Initially, Zuber asks the person under the snow if he is okay and if he can hear him, without receiving any response; so he kept digging and that’s how he can see the man start to move an arm.

Zuber continued to wipe the snow from his face before the trapped man could breathe, and it was then that he thanked him for rescuing him. Quickly, he takes out an emergency shovel that he had with him and with it he managed to dig it up completely.

Finally, the skier advised those who practice these sports to take a training course to learn how to survive avalanches or other similar situations.
