thierry-henry-assures-that-messi-must-return-to-fc-barcelona-and-defends-him-from-the-booing-of-psg-fans

The legendary ex-French soccer player Thierry Henry came out in defense of Lionel Messi before the booing of the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) fans before the match against Olympique de Lyon, and assures that he must return to FC Barcelona.

Henry considered it unheard of for the fans of the Parisian team to whistle at Messi when they announced the PSG line-ups, and immediately expressed his wish that the Argentine return to the Catalan team.

“What I say is not news, it is a wish. Messi has to return to Barcelona for the love of football and because he did not leave as he should have left there. It is embarrassing to listen to the whistles from the Parc des Princes,” said the Frenchman.

“You can’t whistle one of the best players on the team with 13 goals and 13 assists in the league, plus another four goals in the Champions League. I want to see Lionel Messi finish his career in Barcelona for the love of football, ”he added.

The 1998 world champion also highlighted the differences between the Messi who plays for PSG and the one who plays for the Argentina team.

“In Argentina, Messi is their first leader and his teammates are willing to die for him, unlike PSG, where there are three orchestra leaders and each plays his own rhythm,” he said.

Paris ended up losing at home by the slightest difference against Lyon, although they maintain a difference of six points in first place in the table.
