zelensky-sends-a-message-to-the-russian-troops:-they-still-have-time-to-leave-or-we-will-destroy-them

This Monday the Ukrainian president, Volodimir Zelenski, affirmed that all the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories will be liberated as soon as the counteroffensive of his Army begins, for which the Ukrainian leader sent a clear message to the invading Kremlin troops: They are still in time to leave or we’ll destroy them if they don’t fall back.

Zelensky made the remarks during a visit to Yahidne and did not say when exactly the Ukrainian army will be ready for the counteroffensive. “I cannot say when we will be ready for very concrete things (…) Although we are preparing to be strong in battle and vacate our land,” said the president of Ukraine.

In addition to that, Zelensky stated that the condition of peace with Russia is possible by winning on the battlefield against the Kremlin troops. “We want peace (…) but how can peace be achieved with Russia. Only by winning on the battlefield in our country, on our land, to stop Russia,” he stated.

Ukrainian troops recently wiped out nearly 4,000 Russian soldiers since March 27. According to First Deputy Defense Minister Oleksandr Pavliuk. According to the leader, in the last week Russia lost 224 pieces of various weapons and military equipment, including one plane, 33 drones, 23 tanks, 56 artillery systems and 39 armored combat vehicles.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces claim that Moscow troops have lost at least 174,550 soldiers since the start of the war. Given this, Russia signed a decree for the military recruitment of 147,000 Russians from April 1 to July 15.

According to President Vladimir Putin, this measure establishes that young Russians between the ages of 18 and 27 will be summoned, to then be sent to the battlefield before the Ukrainian troops that receive the support of the European Union and the United States.
