barcelona-met-with-laliga-to-study-the-possible-return-of-messi-and-the-renewals-of-other-players

FC Barcelona continues to work on how to sign Leo Messi again for next season and be able to overcome the obstacles that affected him this year, such as Gavi’s registration in the first team, or the contract renewals of Ronald Araújo and others players.

For them, directors of the culé team met this Thursday with LaLiga staff with the intention of talking about the Treasury Plan and that the organization approve the team’s accounts since the latter plans to make big moves for the next campaign, this according to information published by the newspaper ‘Marca’.

Barça presented its Treasury Plan to the governing body of Spanish football in which the possible return of Messi was reflected, as well as the renewals of the Uruguayan Ronald Araujo, Gavi, Marcos Alonso and Alejandro Balde, these last movements could not be executed due to restrictions of the tournament organizers.

Since the Barça team activated the levers to achieve the signings of Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Jules Kounde, among others, LaLiga has placed certain demands or economic restrictions that have prevented the club, among other things, from registering Gavi as first team player.

In this sense, a couple of days ago the economic vice president of Barcelona, Eduard Romeu, referred to what the board hopes to do for the next course, but he did not want to ensure anything. “We try to please our coaches and if necessary we can make an effort to sign Leo Messi, but we have not raised anything in this regard”.

For this reason, the Catalan team cannot make many plans for the following campaign, at least not until LaLiga decides to approve or, failing that, reject the plan presented this Thursday.
