neymar-jr.'s-future-looks-far-from-france-and-closer-to-england:-the-brazilian-could-reach-a-premier-league-great

When the owners of PSG bought the club in 2011, they thought that in a short time they could win the Champions League, but 12 years later this title has become elusive after investing close to $1.7 billion dollars in transfers.

Perhaps the most emblematic transfer was that of Neymar in 2017 when the Parisian club paid the player’s release clause to Barcelona and ended up paying $230 million for him.

6 seasons have passed since then and despite the fact that Neymar has had good numbers, they do not resemble those of elite players and he has not helped them to achieve the long-awaited Champions League and has even been targeted for always getting injured at key moments of the season. Since his arrival in Paris, he has been injured for more than 600 days.

PSG’s patience seems to be reaching its limit and the 31-year-old Brazilian could leave the team this summer. As reported by the English newspaper the sun Manchester United is very interested in getting Neymar’s services this summer.

This operation could even be accelerated if the English team is bought this year by Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani, who is part of the same investment group that owns PSG. What would facilitate the arrival of Neymar to England.

The former FC Barcelona has a contract with PSG until June 2025 and according to the specialized site Transfermarkt it is currently valued at $75 million dollars, an approximate figure that Manchester United would have to pay to sign the attacker from São Paulo.
