Statements at a press conference this Saturday by the New York Yankees strategist, Aaron Boone, confirmed the injury to the team’s star, Aaron Judge, who had been suffering from physical discomfort for some games.
In Boone’s words, Judge underwent an MRI in the last few hours, which confirmed that he is suffering from a hip strain that could keep him away from the pitch for longer than expected.
However, the Yankees plan to wait a few days to find out if the outfielder presents a favorable evolution to the ailment or will have to join the training list, initially for fifteen days.
Judge suffered the injury after on April 26 during a game against the Minnesota Twins, after he tried to steal third base; he was forced to leave the meeting.
Judge’s injury adds to the problems in the Bronx, which has already had to deal with physical discomfort from Giancarlo Stanton and Josh Donaldson.
