north-carolina-man-bets-on-new-lottery-scratch-off-and-wins-$200,000

A North Carolina lottery player won $200,000 after betting on a new Scratch-Off.

Emmanuel Glover, of Fayetteville, invested $5 in a ticket to “Living Lucky with Luke Combs”, a recently launched “scratch-off”.

The winner acquired the card on April 21 at the Antioch Food Mart, a business located at US 158 in Oxford.

The North Carolina Education Lottery reported this week that Glover ended up with $142,501 as a result of taxes deducted.

The man scratched the ticket in his car when he was with his wife immediately after purchasing it.

“I had to blink several times to see that it was real,” said the “Country” singer.

“Then we spent the whole day trying to hold on (the emotion),” he added.

The “Living Lucky with Luke Combs” game debuted in the state lottery this month.

Lottery betting experts recommend players opt for the newest ones to increase the chances of winning.

Players who buy new games tend to win more, since the biggest prizes have yet to be won. Otherwise, because the games have been available longer, the chance of someone claiming the prize is higher.
