robert-lewandowski-revealed-his-favorite-spanish-la-liga-forwards

The current FC Barcelona player Robert Lewandowski joined the team last summer, without a doubt he has been one of the best strikers in recent years and is currently the leading scorer in La Liga in Spain.

In a recent interview with LaLiga Great Goals the Pole chose what he considers to be the 8 best forwards that have passed through Spanish football. This is Lewy’s list.

louis fabiano

The Brazilian played in Spain for 6 seasons with Sevilla. In the 2007/2008 campaign he scored 24 league goals with the Andalusian team. Robert comments that: “I remember Luis Fabiano’s goals and his movements.”

Thierry Henry

The three seasons of the French attacker in Barcelona were enough to stand out and make Lewandowski include him among his favourites. “I loved watching him play,” he added.

Sergio “Kun” Aguero

“Kun’s” debut in Europe was with Atlético de Madrid at just 19 years old and in his five seasons with the mattress team he put up incredible numbers. The Pole highlights the speed of the Argentine despite being so small. “Despite being small, he started the play and it ended.”

Ronaldo Nazario

One of the few players who played in the two big teams in Spain. In just one year with Barcelona he scored 34 goals and at Real Madrid he played for five seasons, scoring 83 goals in 127 games. “I would have loved to play with him,” Robert said.

David Villa

Zaragoza, Valencia, Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid were the teams where Villa played in Spain, standing out in each of them. He was also part of that historic Spanish team that won the 2010 World Cup. “When he had the ball, he knew perfectly how to finish the play,” Lewandowski commented on the former soccer player.

Iago Aspas

The first on the list that is still active. “He is very technical” the Pole comments on Aspas, who this season with Celta has already scored 12 goals in the league.

Antoine Griezman

Another with a lot of experience in La Liga. He has 177 goals in 15 seasons divided between Real Sociedad, Atlético de Madrid and Barcelona. “He is not the typical striker. He has vision, but at the same time he can score goals,” Robert said of him.
