good-love-story:-santiago-gimenez-confessed-that-he-met-his-fiancee-playing-call-of-duty

The Mexican striker Santiago Giménez has dared to speak a little about his personal life and recounted the particular way in which he met his fiancée, Fer Serrano.

During a talk on his team’s Youtube channel, Feyenoord, ‘Santi’ and his girlfriend told in detail how their love story began, through the Call of Duty video game.

“It’s a very funny story,” Serrano said at first. “You will not believe it,” added the Mexican soccer player.

Fer’s mother passed away in March 2020, when the coronavirus pandemic began. “She was at my house all day. All I did was play Call of Duty, but really fanatically. I was born to play. That was all I did.”

“One day I uploaded a story on social networks that I was playing and I won. Santiago replied: Wow, are you playing? let’s Play. I didn’t answer right away because my mind was at that moment only with my mother. Two weeks later he said that she was playing with friends. He invited me to join, so I did. Just friendly,” said the young woman.

The soccer player added that although they had never seen each other in person, they followed each other on Instagram.

“He is also three years younger than me. That’s why we didn’t meet at a party or through mutual friends. I accepted the invitation to play and then we played non-stop for two months because he wasn’t training due to Covid-19,” added Fer.

“We got up at 1 in the afternoon and played until five in the morning,” said ‘Bebote’, who at that time was a member of the Cruz Azul ranks of Liga MX.

“We only stopped to eat something. Then we would play again. The funny thing is that I was skating in the street, because I really needed to get away from everything. She asked me where she was. The funny thing was that he lived only three houses from me. At one point he came out and that was our first meeting,” Serrano said.

The couple got engaged that same year and have been together for almost three years now.
