A man got the shock of his life when he found out he won a grand prize with a Scratch-Off he bought at an Ohio gas station that only cost him $10.

The top prize was $2.5 million, but the winner will receive the money in annual payments for the next 10 years.

The lucky player purchased his $2,500,000 Make My Year Scratch-Off game lottery ticket at an Alliance Get Go store, located at 1896 Beechwood & State St.

The amount of money given out annually is $250,000 a year for 10 years before taxes, as reported by the Ohio State Lottery.

However, after paying applicable federal and state taxes, the winner will take home a total of $180,000 per year for the next 10 years.

The player’s odds of winning this prize were only 1 in 2,500,000.
