woman-won-lottery-prize-that-was-10,000-times-bigger-than-the-cost-of-the-ticket

A Mississippi woman decided to try her luck with a Scratch-Off lottery ticket and it turned out that her investment was very successful, as she ended up winning a jackpot that was 10,000 times more than what she spent on the game.

The woman bought a 9s in a Line game scratch-off ticket. Mississippi Lottery officials said the player found three 9s in a row on the scratch-off. This gave the woman, a resident of the city of Jackson, a whopping prize of $20,000.

Since the lucky winner only spent $2 on the lottery ticket, that means her small investment was multiplied by 10,000.

The player bought her lottery ticket at an Exxon fuel station, as reported on the Magnolia State Live portal.

On the other hand, the other lottery games in the country are offering bigger and bigger jackpots.

In the case of Powerball, tonight’s drawing has a jackpot of $60 million.

While the next Mega Millions draw, which will take place tomorrow Tuesday, offers a jackpot of $52 million dollars.
