A man has been arrested and charged with manslaughter with a deadly weapon during a shooting that occurred at a nightclub located in the town of Minot, Ward County, North Dakota.

The suspect was identified as 40-year-old Travis Everett McDermott, who was charged shortly after a shooting occurred last Sunday at a nightclub known as The Original Bar & Nightclub.

The victim was identified as Greyson Sletto, a 32-year-old man from Willow City who died of two gunshot wounds, according to information from The Minot Daily News.

Court records reviewed by The Minot Daily News indicate that law enforcement officials arrived at the nightclub, located at 720 N. Broadway, and found Sletto’s body on the floor with two gunshot wounds to his torso. Sletto was pronounced dead at 2:12 AM last Sunday.

McDermott, the suspect, was detained by other people present at the nightclub, and was later apprehended and questioned by authorities, who seized a firearm.
