San Antonio Spurs is partying. And it is that this Tuesday they managed to get the number one position in the NBA draft lottery, so it is almost a fact that they will be able to sign Victor Wembanyama, considered by many to be the best prospect in NBA history.
At an event held at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, the NBA held the long-awaited raffle in which teams like the Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Charlotte Hornets and Portland Trail Blazers hoped to get the No. 1 pick.
However, Spurs were the lucky ones in the selection and now they will be able to base their future project on the basis of Wembanyama, who is barely 19 years old.
It will be next June 22 when the signing of Victor Wembanyama with San Antonio is made official, the date on which the NBA draft will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Wembanyama, destined to break the league
The French talent, who stands at 2.20 meters and who has been praised by NBA players, coaches and trainers, is considered a unique talent for his qualities on the court.
Although he works as a center, Wembanyama has other gifts such as handling the ball and vision of the game, making his work more remarkable on the court.

ESPN reports assured minutes after the draft lottery that Wembanyama followed the draw live from his residence in Paris and that he was very delighted with his new team.
Although there are many who do not know Wembanyama’s talent or his basketball skills, the truth is that both NBA legends have supported the youth’s career and everything he can contribute to the league.
The legend of San Antonio and also French, Tony Parker, assured that “Victor is a unique player in the world, he is the best young talent in French basketball in the last twenty years”, while LeBron James cataloged Wembanyama as an alien.
“He’s an alien. Nobody has seen someone so tall and so fluid and graceful on the court,” said the Lakers star.
The future signing of Wembanyama in the San Antonio Spurs gives hope to the Texan team to return to the glory days of the past decade, where Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, Kawhi Leonard and Duncan himself came together in 15 years to give them the five rings of champion who has the badge in its history.
