Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt has owned a mansion in Pasadena, California, for three years. According to ‘Dirt.com’, this residence was sold at the end of 2020 for $4.6 million dollars but now the identity of the buyer is confirmed.
It seems that the actor, known for starring in ‘(500) Days of Summer’, began a process of remodeling the house after buying it and so far he has not inhabited it.
No doubt Gordon-Levitt must have seen a lot of potential in the Craftsman-style house, built in 1906 on a 0.57-acre lot. In its long history of 117 years it has only had six owners.
The property is considered a hidden treasure for its fine woodwork, corridors and corners. Some media consider that the reforms that have been made to the place in modern times are a mistake.
The actor has at his disposal a main house of 7,672 distributed over three floors with seven bedrooms, six full bathrooms, hall, living room, main room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and other amenities.
Luxuries include a basement with billiards room, gym, 800-bottle wine cellar, wet bar and more.
The gourmet kitchen and master bedroom bathroom are completely remodeled in a modern style. These spaces contrast with other elements and materials that remain from the original construction such as wainscoting and oak wood floors.
Also of note is a custom mural and 1906 Tiffany chandelier in the lobby.
Outside there are green areas with a terrace, swimming pool, spa area, dining room, kitchen, fireplace and other ideal spaces to enjoy the outdoors with family or friends.
It is not known if Gordon-Levitt will make this property his primary residence, as he has lived in Silver Lake for the past few years.
