An Ohio man is accused of setting his father’s girlfriend on fire after knocking out her teeth.

Police body camera footage held by Law&Crime shows the suspect, identified as 23-year-old Robbi Davon Robinson, telling officers who arrived on the scene last Thursday that he doesn’t know what’s going on.

When the agents ask the man who was in the burning house, he answers that his stepmother.

“Your stepmother jumped from behind,” says the uniformed man.

“Oh yeah?” Robinson replies.

In another suppressed part of the audiovisual material, an agent runs into the woman, identified as Brenda Scott, 50, who tells him that she needs to breathe. The victim adds that “he”, referring to Robinson, knocked out her teeth and burned her.

The motive for the crime has not been established. The man claimed to authorities that he did not know what was going on. However, judicial documents of the case cited by the aforementioned medium indicate that the suspect hit the victim and knocked out at least two teeth.

“Investigation revealed that Scott was in the room when Robinson assaulted her and set her on fire,” the officers wrote in the fact report. “Scott left the house through a second-story window into a yard, where a neighbor found her and called for help,” they added.

Robinson faces charges of felony arson and felony battery for the events in Fairfield Township.

The victim was in critical condition after being airlifted to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

A preliminary hearing of the case is supposed to take place this Wednesday. Robinson remains being held at the Butler County Jail on a $200,000 bond.
