The streets of Barcelona are filled with more color with the creation of a large mural against racism that continues to leave victims in LaLiga in Spain, and which has among its protagonists the Real Madrid striker, Vinícius Jr.

The new campaigns against racism have intensified throughout Europe after the insults suffered by Vinícius Jr. in the match against Valencia.

That is why it is part of this mural, which also includes figures such as Samuel Eto’o, Marcus Rashford and Mario Balotelli.

The work was made by a Brazilian artist named Diego in the skatepark in the Poblenou neighborhood of the city of Barcelona.

This is one of the different murals that Diego has made, and that are located in other latitudes such as Naples and Warsaw.

The artist’s objective is to send a message of social equality, in order to fight against acts of racism and discrimination.

Diego is also known for making a mural at the end of 2022 in which he depicted Achraf Hakimi hugging his mother, after suffering various discriminatory insults during the World Cup in Qatar.

This new mural is one more example of the support that Vinícius Jr. has received, beyond the world of football, due to the situations that occurred the previous weekend.
Teams and institutions have also raised their voices for LaLiga to take forceful measures so that these acts are not repeated in the competition.
