A Mexico City police officer shot dead an alleged thief, identified as 17-year-old Ulises Sandoval Reséndiz, who with an accomplice robbed an Oxxo store in Mexico City.

“My baby, they killed my baby,” the mother of the alleged thief shouted when she recognized the body of her son, who was lying on the sidewalk, after being shot at the moment he was surprised by a policeman when he was robbing the convenience store. , located on Avenida Eduardo Molina, corner 5 de Mayo, in the Gustavo A. Madero mayor’s office, to the west of Mexico City.

Police confront thieves and kill one

The assault was captured by video surveillance cameras in Mexico City (C5), where the criminals are seen inside the Oxxo, subduing the cashier. A policeman who was passing through the place notices the presence of the thieves and shoots at them.

The thieves were also armed and shot at the policeman, who repelled the attack. The bullets hit one of the criminals who was wearing a white sweatshirt.

A woman who was shopping at the convenience store suffered a leg injury and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

While one of the thieves died after being shot, his accomplice fled.

Mother of alleged thief arrived at the scene

A few minutes after the shooting, neighbors and the mother of the dead man arrived at the place and began to scream and cry in the place when she saw her lifeless son.

“My baby, my baby, they took my baby away from me,” the heartbroken woman screamed as she calls the phone and drops to her knees on the floor.

The alleged thief was identified as Ulises Sandoval Reséndiz, 17 years old. Next to him was a firearm and 7,000 pesos in cash (almost $400 dollars).

Several patrols and emergency teams arrived at the scene.
