Rapper Kanye West seems to have had no luck recently with real estate. According to the newspaper ‘The Sun’, the mansion in Malibu, California, that he bought in 2021 will not be able to recover from the abandonment in which it is currently located.
West bought this Japanese-style mansion for $57.5 million, but never lived in it or did any maintenance. Currently the property is in very poor condition and his hands are tied.
‘The Sun’ reported exclusively that Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband had quietly ended his company Yeezy Construction Inc., which was responsible for the construction of several of his mansions in California.
Without a doubt, the loss of this property is a pity, not only because of the money invested by the rapper but also because it was one of the mansions designed by the renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando. Among West’s plans was a redevelopment of the property by designer James Goldiest, who is the creator of the renowned Sehats-Goldstein residence in Los Angeles.
Although Ando’s structure is considered a work of art, the rapper and designer believed it was still a blank canvas full of possibilities.
The entire Yeezy Construction Inc. situation stems from West’s controversial anti-Semitic statements several years ago. Those comments caused West to lose a contract with big brands, including Adidas.
The end of all the alliances with big brands has plunged West into financial problems, although he is not in the worst moment, he has had to stop living his life as he knew it. It was even said that she has abandoned her ranch in Wyoming, which she hoped to sell in 2022.
