ana-brenda-contreras:-my-dog-saved-me-from-depression

Three years after the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, Ana Brenda Contreras remembers how her pet arrived at the right time to help her be as calm as possible, knowing that she had to remain isolated at home.

Through her TikTok account, the actress revealed that she fell into a severe depression, not only because she could not go swimming during the contingency, but also because she remembered the death of her father, which occurred in October 2017.

“I got brutally depressed because of my dad’s grief, because of the contingency and because of my life in general, I didn’t find meaning in it. Suddenly I see on the internet this divine thing without legs that was difficult to find a home and I knew it had to be mine. If it hadn’t been for her, my experience in the pandemic would have been totally different, she definitely saved me from that depression,” said Ana Brenda.

Likewise, the actress recognized that the physical disability that her dog has has made the connection between the two even more special, since she has taught her to enjoy life despite the difficulties that may arise along the way.
