A couple of parents in New York City have been charged with the murder of their 3-month-old daughter, according to police reports reviewed by Fox News.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) reported that the girl’s father was identified as 23-year-old Damien Comager.

Comager was charged with murder, manslaughter and also with concealing a human corpse, according to Fox 5 New York.

The mother of the deceased girl was identified as 20-year-old Ivana Paolozzi, who was charged with one count of concealment of a human corpse and obstruction of justice.

The Fox News report recounts that police officers found the body of the three-month-old baby in a wooded area near the interstate Mayor Deegan and W 161st Street, in the Bronx, around 8:30 PM last Sunday. .

However, the police have not yet provided details about how the girl’s body was discovered or the cause of her death. However, they did clarify to the press that the parents were responsible and indicated the girl’s death was a homicide.
