National Donut Day is celebrated in the United States on the first Friday of June each year. To celebrate the date, donut shops, coffee shops, and some restaurants launch special offers.
According to National Today, the origins of National Donut Day, which was established in 1938, can be traced back to the Salvation Army’s involvement in World War I.

1. Krispy Kreme
Krispy Kreme celebrates National Donut Day by giving away a donut, no purchase required. There is also a BOGO sale, when buying a dozen donuts, customers can get a dozen glazed donuts for $2.
Among the free donuts available on National Donut Day are Krispy Kreme “Fan Favorites,” four popular flavors that recently returned from limited-time collections: Banana Pudding Donut, Chocolate Cake Donut Kreme, the Strawberry Key Lime Pie Donut and Kreme Donut.
2.Dunkin’
On June 2, Dunkin’ customers can get a free classic donut with the purchase of any beverage.
3.Duck Donuts
At Duck Donuts, customers can celebrate National Donut Day with a free cinnamon sugar donut. No purchase necessary. The offer is valid while stocks last.
4. Shipley Donuts
On June 2, Shipley Donuts will offer a free glazed donut online with the code Donutday23 or in-store from 5 am to 12 pm, while supplies last. Offer is limited to one donut per person.
