Four women were injured in the middle of a wild brawl between neighbors with a knife and a hammer that broke out this morning in Brooklyn (NYC).
The violent confrontation began around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday on Essex Street near Jamaica Avenue in the Cypress Hills neighborhood, according to the New York police.
A 21-year-old woman was stabbed in the shoulder, a 22-year-old woman was hammered in the head, a 23-year-old victim was stabbed in the back, and the oldest victim, 29, had her right hand cut , reported New York Post.
All four victims were taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in stable condition. The reason for the fight, which authorities said appeared to be a dispute between neighbors, was not disclosed.
A 19-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man were taken into custody, police said. The charges were still pending hours later. None of those involved have been identified.
