Police in Hollywood, Florida, on Tuesday asked for the public’s help in identifying two suspects in connection with a mass shooting that occurred just over the Memorial Day holiday on Hollywood Broadwalk that left at least nine people injured, including four. children.

So far no deaths have been reported from the crime, but several people were rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital and Joe DiMaggio Childrens Hospital, according to a statement from authorities.

During the shooting, there were nine injured, and four of them were minors between the ages of 1 and 17.

The adult victims were between the ages of 25 and 65, officials reported. Nothing has been revealed about his current health conditions.

According to investigators, an altercation between two groups of people escalated into the shooting and sent dozens of people into a panic causing the crowd to run and duck for cover from the bullets.

Video of the moment the fire was opened shows a man in a yellow hoodie pulling out a gun and firing before running off.

Also, another man identified by police as a possible suspect was wearing a gray sweatshirt and appeared to be holding a weapon.

For his part, Josh Levy, the mayor of Hollywood, expressed his dismay at the violence, saying it was “more than reckless” for the people involved to shoot while surrounded by innocent people.

“Having a firearms altercation in a public place with thousands of people around you is beyond reckless,” Levy said.
