julio-cesar-chavez-jr.-talks-about-his-relationship-with-his-father:-“although-he-is-old,-i-will-always-listen-to-him”

The boxer Julio César Chávez Jr. spoke this Wednesday for the first time about the relationship he has with his father Julio César Chávez as a result of the controversy a couple of weeks ago where he was seen disoriented and with strong comments towards his father.

Chavez Jr. wanted to take a moment of reflection to think about his relationship with his father and through a series of stories on his Instagram account, he decided to apologize for the previous comments.

“I would like to apologize to my dad. Because I think I said something about him that I shouldn’t. I respect my dad, I love him, I love him, I hope to always have him and if he makes a mistake sometimes I will respect him”, commented the boxer.

Chavez Jr., who has been suffering from problems due to addiction to psychotropic substances for several months, said that he can only apologize to his father and that he will always do so.

“Apologizing to my dad, the only person I apologize to is my dad because I know he will always want the best for me, even though he’s old, I’ll always listen to him,” he said.

As if that were not enough, Chávez Jr. said that the main reason for the apology for his comments came because at the time he decided to make the publications he was under the influence of drug addiction, also noting that he hopes to amend what happened with these apologies.

“I realized that we have to be more careful with things, I hope all young people find it useful, we have to be careful with what we drink, with what we smoke, with what we think is right, we have to ask for another opinion. I hope to continue like this very well, I no longer want to look bad, I think it was time to change him and we are going to do things as they are, “she concluded.

Chávez Jr.’s comments received mixed opinions on social media. While some considered the boxer’s words real, others pointed out that he has relapsed into vices on many occasions and that this will not be the last time he does so.
