Netflix launches beers to the US market in partnership with Athletic Brewing, the nation’s leading non-alcoholic craft beer producer.
The brewer and Netflix have teamed up to bring to market a series of three limited-edition beers based on the streaming service’s biggest original shows.
“There’s no better way to enjoy an award-winning craft beer than with one of the most entertaining shows on Netflix,” said Andrew Katz, director of marketing for Athletic Brewing Company.
Geralt’s Gold
Geralt’s Gold is inspired by The Witcher, starring Henry Cavill; It is the first co-branded beer between Netflix and Athletic Brewing.
“Named for its beloved anti-hero, Geralt of Rivia, it is a toast to fate and all those who embrace it. He is medium-bodied and very aromatic with citrus and floral notes on a nose of ripe peach ”, describes the brewer.

Geralt’s Gold has a dynamic blend of Warrior, Chinook, Centennial and Simcoe hops. “With a radiant golden pour and wonderfully nuanced flavor, it is as intriguing and smooth as Geralt himself.”
The beer clocks in at 65 calories and less than 0.5% alcohol by volume (ABV). It is available for purchase at select retailers across the country, or through the Athletic Brewing website. The six pack of beers retails for $14.99.
The Witcher seasons 1 and 2 are available on Netflix. Season 3 is in production.
Henry Cavill will retire after the third season of The Witcher. The role of Geralt for the next few seasons will be assumed by Liam Hemsworth.
