The United States government announced this Wednesday a new military aid package for Ukraine, which will be about 300 million dollars, including ammunition for drones and anti-aircraft defense systems, such as the Patriots, which have been key to the anti-aircraft defense of the Ukrainians during the course of the war in the last six months.
According to one of the White House spokesmen, John Kirby, America’s allies remain steadfast in continuing their country’s effort to help Ukraine defend itself. Recently, the spokesperson for the Joe Biden presidency has reported that they are 100% sure to maintain their support for the defense against Russia, although they do not agree that Kiev is carrying out attacks on Federation soil.
In addition, Kirby stressed that whatever happens in the US Congress on the draft bill to raise the national debt ceiling, this will not affect the country’s ability to support Ukraine, which has been one of the Biden administration’s priorities. . The Pentagon also detailed that the new package also includes Stinger anti-aircraft missiles, ammunition for the High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems, which are long-range, and demining equipment.
The White House said earlier that it does not support attacks inside Russia or the use of US equipment to carry them out. This would be the first massive bombardment in the Russian capital and the second, after a drone attacked the Kremlin headquarters earlier this month.
Ten days ago, President Biden also announced a new military aid package to Ukraine on Sunday during a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart in Japan, during a G7 meeting. With this announcement, the United States will disburse new weapons, defense systems, ammunition and logistics material worth $375 million dollars.
