La Máquina de Cruz Azul reached an agreement with the Brazilian team Fortaleza to take over the services of the South American player Moisés Vieira for the upcoming Liga MX Apertura 2023 tournament and thus begin its restructuring process to try to reach the title of champions.
The information was released by the Brazilian team through its account on the social network Twitter and anticipating the information that the light blue team should reveal. “Fortaleza Esporte Clube announces the sale of 90% of the federative rights of striker Moisés Vieira to Club Deportivo Cruz Azul, from Mexico, for R$ 24,500,000.00 ($4,825,000 million dollars) and the Tricolor club will retain 10% of the rights . The contract between Fortaleza and the athlete will run until the end of 2025,” the team wrote in its statement.
This incorporation by the Cruz Azul Machine would be quite favorable for the scheme that Ricardo ‘Tuca’ Ferretti plans to implement for the Apertura 2023 tournament of the MX League; the situation is due to the fact that Vieira can play both as a striker and as a left winger.

This addition will be vital to reinforce the offensive of Cruz Azul, a team that barely scored 20 goals, seven wins, three draws and seven losses in the 2023 Liga MX Clausura tournament.
