jennifer-lopez-and-ben-affleck-finally-decided-on-a-mansion-in-beverly-hills

Count was lost of how many mansions were linked to Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. The powerful Hollywood couple was looking for months, visiting different properties in Los Angeles and even on several occasions the media claimed that they had already made the purchase.

A few hours ago ‘TMZ’ and ‘The Wall Street Journal’ reported for the first time that the Affleck López family has already found the perfect place. This news also disperses the rumors that have been generated about the couple a bit, since on several occasions it has been said that they are not having a good time and that they live tense moments when they make public appearances.

According to ‘TMZ’, the couple agreed to pay $60.9 million for an impressive mansion on Wallingford Dr, Beverly Hills. Even the place is considered the jewel in the crown of that community.

Lopez and Affleck are said to have been in negotiations for an entire week. They also ensure that the $60 million dollars were paid in cash, bill upon bill.

The newly remodeled mansion is built on a 5.2-acre lot and dates back to the year 2000. The history of the property is interesting, in 2002 it was sold to Alex Yemenidjian, former CEO of MGM Studios, for $11 million and he sold it to him. to Curtis Somoza, a Ponzi scammer sentenced to 25 years in prison, for $14 million dollars. In 2007 the place was sold to a Korean woman for $16.8 million dollars, the next 10 years the place appeared frequently on the real estate market.

It served as rental space for parties and was even briefly home to an arrested Saudi prince. Finally in 2017 it was sold for $22 million dollars to a luxury developer company called Gala Asher. Said company invested many millions of dollars more and began an ambitious remodeling project.

The property initially entered the real estate market in 2018 for $135 million dollars, but the lack of interested parties caused it to leave the market for several years and return this year for $75 million dollars. Finally López and Affleck achieved a reduction of more than $10 million dollars.

The main house has an extension of 38,000 square feet distributed in 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, lobby, living room, main room, wine room, cinema room, beauty salon, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and other luxuries.

Among the new construction Gala Asher added to the property is a 5,000-square-foot freestanding sports complex with an indoor pickleball court, lounge area, gym and boxing ring.

A guardhouse with two rooms was also built. The security system of the house is one of the attractions of the mansion. For example, to enter the place you must go through a double door.

The main house and the other structures are surrounded by extensive green areas with a terrace, swimming pool and many other spaces ideal for enjoying the outdoors with family and friends.
