When Raphy Pina was sentenced to 41 months in prison for illegal possession of weapons, the world of Natti Natasha, his partner and mother of his daughter Vida Isabelle, changed. More than a year has passed since that moment and now the singer talks about how she lived that moment in her life and the way in which she is currently facing this situation, because her life and her career continue forward.
“I didn’t know anything, it was such a shocking moment that you just don’t know anything. Literal… I am proud of the strength that I have given myself, I am proud that I have made a smile when perhaps at one point I said: ‘My God, how am I going to do this?’”, the artist confessed exclusively to ‘People en Spanish’.
Regarding how the dynamics with Raphy Pina have been since prison, he points out that there has been a lot of communication between them.
“Within the limited, communication is free, we have become accustomed to the routine of emails. I visualize it more like the cards from the days before to make it more romantic, and it’s a side that we hadn’t experienced from each other,” she expressed.
“It is that challenge from one day to the next not to see that person who was with you all the time. It has been a challenge not to see it, not to feel it every day, but we have looked for a way to let ourselves feel. Distance has made us closer,” also added Natti Natasha, who in the most recent edition of the Latin AMAs dedicated a very emotional song to her beloved: “La fata que me haces” was the song she sang holding back her tears from stage.
In these moments where he wondered how he would continue, his daughter Vida Isabelle, who just turned two years old and had a great birthday party in Miami, was his greatest motivation.
