AirlineRatings.com, the Australian-based aviation safety and product ratings agency, has unveiled the Airline Excellence Awards, recognizing the top 25 airlines in the world.
This year Air New Zealand took first place, winning the award for the seventh time since 2013, for its innovations in flight, operational safety, environmental leadership, staff motivation and the inclusion of affordable SkyNest beds. Some US companies also appear on the list.
AirlineRatings.com’s Airline Excellence Awards are judged by five editors with over 180 years of industry experience, taking into account safety and government audits, on 12 key criteria including: fleet age, passenger reviews, profitability, investment rating, product offerings, and staff relations.
