david-'big-papi'-ortiz-sold-his-mansion-in-florida-for-$10.5-million-dollars

Dominican David ‘Big Papi’ Ortiz has just sold his mansion in Pinecrest, Florida, for $10.5 million dollars. According to real estate agents, the former Major League Baseball player managed to turn the property into the most expensive home in the area.

Although it is a large amount of money for the community – and for those who are not millionaires – Ortiz expected to receive much more than that. The property initially came on the market in February of this year for $12.5 million.

This residence certainly has a lot of history. Ortiz and his then wife, Tiffany, bought the lot where the mansion now stands in 2016, in that same year the Dominican officially retired from baseball. At that time, they only invested $1.5 million dollars.

The main house of this property has an extension of 10,200 square feet distributed on two floors with five bedrooms, several bathrooms, hall, living room, main room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and other amenities.

Among the luxuries of the property stands out an eight-seat cinema room, bar and an illuminated ceiling. It should also be said that there was a room on the property that served as a kind of museum, since various awards and other items related to the Major League Baseball career were exhibited there.

On the other hand, the property, thanks to its large floor-to-ceiling windows, is illuminated with natural light and offers a beautiful view of the exterior.

The kitchen looks sparkling and bright with its white cabinets, marble countertops, and high-end appliances.

Outside there is enough space to enjoy the outdoors with family or friends. There is terrace, swimming pool, spa area, barbecue area and more.
