jimmy-butler-predicts-the-heat's-comeback-and-warns-the-nuggets:-“we're-going-to-get-four-wins”

Despite losing Game 1 of the NBA Finals, Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler was fairly calm ahead of Game 2 and sent a warning to the Denver Nuggets, letting them know they intend to turn around. to the series and be champions.

“We are fine, we really are. We are very calm. We are very serene. We are still very confident. She hasn’t gone anywhere. We will always believe in each other, no matter what, be it at home or at home. And we’re still going to get four wins,” he said at a press conference.

Precisely the sentence in which he affirms that they are going to “achieve four victories” was the one that was repeated the most in the press conference this Saturday, giving signs of the great confidence that the team has.

“With a 1-0 down (…), we are there laughing, smiling, knowing that we could play better. We will play better. We have to be better if we want to win,” she pointed out.

In the first game of the NBA Finals, the Denver Nuggets gave a true display of their power and authority when, led by Nikola Jokic, they beat the Heat by a comfortable score of 104-93.

One of the keys to that result was limiting the offensive arsenal of Jimmy Butler who finished the match with a performance well below his usual level, with 13 points (6 of 14 shooting), 7 rebounds and 7 assists.

“I have to be more aggressive putting pressure on the rim,” the Miami star admitted after looking back on his performance from that first game.

“I think that makes everyone’s job easier. My teammates copy me when I’m aggressive on both sides of the game. So I have to be the one to go out there (in the next game) and start off the right way, which I will, and we’ll see where we end up,” he said.

Likewise, the forward let it be known that just as his teammates trust him, he also trusts them and knows that, despite the fact that some of them had a weak performance in the previous match, they can improve and that will lead them to win the championship.

“I tell them: ‘I’m still going to pass the ball to you and if you miss the next ten and you’re open in the eleventh, I’m still going to throw the ball to you because you’ll never be the reason we lose,'” he stressed.

“It’s always a team effort and I want them to take the same shots (…) and stay aggressive,” he said.

This Sunday the second game of the Finals will be played in Denver before the series goes to Miami, which will host the third and fourth games on Wednesday and Friday, respectively.
