'wacho'-jimenez-apologizes-to-the-fans-of-chivas-de-guadalajara-and-sends-an-emotional-message-after-the-defeat-against-tigres-de-la-uanl

Chivas Rayadas de Guadalajara were just one step away from achieving glory in the final of the Clausura 2023 Liga MX tournament; however, they ended up being defeated by the UANL Tigers in a highly contested final at the Akron Stadium in Guadalajara, thus cutting off their aspirations of raising a trophy for their record again.

One of the most questioned figures in the match and especially throughout the season was the Rebaño Sagrado goalkeeper, Miguel ‘Wacho’ Jiménez, who finally decided to end the silence and sent an emotional message to the fans of Guadalajara through his account on the social network Instagram.

In the publication, the player assured that he felt sad for not having been able to achieve the title of champion that they so longed for. However, he highlighted the good tournament they had and was confident that he could maintain this rhythm of play for the upcoming Apertura 2023 tournament of the MX League.

“They have been days of much reflection, we know what we failed at, but we also know everything we did well in this tournament. We generated a lot of enthusiasm and we were also very excited to make @chivas reach one more final ”, she expressed.

“Total thanks to the 40 million ChivaHermanos for all their support, we are going to come back stronger and we will continue fighting at the top,” added ‘Wacho’ Jiménez in his words along with a series of photographs of the match against the UANL Tigers .

‘Wacho’ Jiménez is shaping up to have a new competition in the goal before the possible arrival of goalkeeper Óscar Whaller, who arrives from Spain with the aim of reinforcing the three posts and thus avoiding more goals for the Apertura 2023 tournament of the League MX.
