A man from the town of Wyandotte has won a Michigan Lottery grand prize for the second time in 10 years. Ronald Durham, 64, won $25,000 a year for life by matching all five white balls drawn May 2: 29-30-34-46-48, according to the Michigan Lottery.
It should be noted that Druham hit the jackpot in 2014, when he won a $250,000 Keno jackpot.
On his most recent win, the lucky winner told lottery authorities: “I play Lucky For Life every day and always check the numbers online after the draw. I checked the winning numbers as usual in the morning, and when I saw that I won $25,000 a year for life, I was shocked!”
The lucky winner purchased their ticket at a 7-Eleven store at 12990 Fort. He chose to receive his winnings in a single payment of $390,000 instead of receiving annual payments of $25,000 for 20 years or his lifetime.
It should be noted that this is not the first time that Druham has hit the jackpot. In 2014, he won a $250,000 Keno jackpot.
“It is hard to believe that he has won another grand prix less than 10 years later. I feel like the luckiest person in Michigan!” she said.
The man says he plans to use his new fortune to travel and save what is left over.
