This Monday the New York Police Department (NYPD) reported the death of two men, identities have not been revealed to the media, inside a building in The Bronx. According to the authorities, a third person was injured by the bullet wounds.
According to the New York Police Department report, the victims were shot inside an apartment building on Rev. James A. Polite Ave. near E. 163rd St. in Longwood around 12:30 p.m.
The fatally wounded men, ages 32 and 28, died at the scene after receiving several bullet wounds. So far no arrests have been made.
This same week, the New York Police Department (NYPD) arrested a young Hispanic man for allegedly fatally shooting an aspiring rapper in the Bronx. The victim’s mother claimed the suspect shot himself out of jealousy of Antione Strong’s career.
The suspect identified as 19-year-old Carlos Veras was arrested on charges including murder, criminal possession of a weapon for shooting Strong on College Avenue near E. 170th Street on May 31.
