grilled-stones:-the-toughest-dish-in-the-world-that-went-viral-on-networks

Suodiu, a grilled stone-based dish, has gone viral in recent days, but its origins date back many years in China and its preparation has been passed down from generation to generation.

The creators of this dish were apparently navigators who got stuck in the river and who, having no options to eat, prepared the stones on the grill to alleviate hunger.

Suodiu means “suck and discard” and was born in a province in eastern China called Hubei, CNN reports.

Currently, this dish attracts attention and conquers palates since the cooking process has been modernized, turning it into an experience of flavors.

“The hardest dish in the world” is one of the most popular in China and rose to fame for its ingredients, especially the stones.

The stones on the grill have earned a place in the country’s large food chains and especially in street sales where you can appreciate the preparation process.

Spiced stones

River stones, oil, chili, garlic sauce, garlic cloves and a mixture of spices are the ingredients of this peculiar dish, according to TV Azteca, which according to diners is an explosion of flavors.

A video went viral on networks where you can see how they put the stones on a hot teppanyaki grill and add one of the ingredients to finish with a touch of garlic sauce.

The culinary experience of trying Suodiu is to savor and suck the stones, since they cannot be eaten due to their hardness.
