“The Artists: First Strokes” is a series starring Maxi Iglesias as Yago. Along with the Spanish actor we also have Ximena Romo as Cata and Francesc Garrido. The public will be able to enjoy this dramatic comedy on July 7 through the ViX streaming platform.

María Dueñas, the creator of this production, tells us in “Los Artistas: Primeros Trazos” how Yago, an antique dealer, and Cata, an art expert, combine their specialties to basically defraud a group of millionaires by selling them fake “works of art”. , hence the quotes!

Maxi Iglesias, one of its protagonists, recently spoke with Mezcalent. The Spaniard is happy to return to Miami after ten years ago he was participating in Univision’s “Mira Quién Baila”. In this conversation he recalled how when he was a child he dreamed of filming a series in that city and today the dream seems fulfilled.

Regarding these facts, the actor says: “It is the first time that I play the protagonist, one hundred percent; well, me and my partner. After so many years in this profession, it is the first time, and my mother has been with me for a few days (in Miami) and I talked about it with her because my mother also witnessed those first times I came here and told her: ‘You realize Count, mom, with the time that has passed, the dreams that I have been achieving’”,

In this conversation, the actor recalled that a few days ago he was in Miami recording “Los Artistas”. “It is a very particular scene, which I cannot advance much either; but it was a dream of mine from a very young age, ever since I saw ‘CSI Miami’ when I was 14, 15 years old, I said ‘I want to record there in Miami, I want to make a movie or a series on a boat in the bay’, and it has The dream has come true, so I’m very happy, really”.

Mezcalent on its website has highlighted that Iglesias rose to fame in Spain for his role in the series “Velvet”, and decided to cross the pond to try his luck in Miami.
