eThe Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz continues to make a name for himself in the world of sports and one of the best haute couture brands in the world knows it. The 20-year-old sportsman signed on as the new ambassador for the French brand Louis Vuitton, where American musician and producer Pharrell Williams is the creative director of the men’s line.
With a black and white photo, wearing a jacket with the brand’s textured pattern, as well as an interview published on the tennis player’s social networks, Louis Vuitton announced his new signing.
“When I hear Louis Vuitton I think of elegance and that it is the best fashion brand today. I remember when I was little I saw people with Louis Vuitton bags, with clothes, and I have always wanted to have one (…) The truth is that I feel very proud and for me it is a dream to be part of the Louis Vuitton family and to be able to surround myself with great celebrities”, said the tennis player in a video posted on his social networks.
In this way Louis Vuitton joins Mercedes, El Pozo, Rolex, Nike, Babolat and Calvin Klein in the list of sponsors of the Spanish tennis player. On the other hand, the French firm continues to expand its portfolio after having collaborated with footballers such as Leo Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidan and Pelé.
“For me, Lous Vuitton is a brand that I have always looked up to and as soon as the opportunity arose to work together, I felt it was a perfect relationship. I really wanted it from the beginning”, the youngest tennis player to occupy the first place in the ATP ranking said in a statement.
The Spaniard continues to train for the Wimbledon tournament, which begins next Monday and in which he starts as the top seed after winning his first grass court title last Sunday at Queen’s.
