To enjoy the start of summer in style and Independence Day, next Tuesday, July 4, the Jovia Financial Credit Union fireworks show will take place at 9:30 pm in Jones Beach.
This was announced by Governor Kathy Hochul when announcing the event in Jones Beach that will have a 25-minute fireworks display and will feature a variety of colors and views lighting up the sky in the popular Long Island waterfront park.
“As New Yorkers begin planning their outdoor adventures in our beautiful state this summer, the fireworks display at Jones Beach State Park on July 4 is the perfect place to start,” said Governor Hochul.
“Independence Day fireworks over the beach are a great summer tradition and a wonderful way to celebrate the birth of our nation, and I encourage New Yorkers and tourists alike to join us in seeing all that our state parks have to offer. to offer during the summer”, added the official.
The celebration, organized by the Garden State Fireworks, will take place on the 4th of July. This year, radio stations WALK 97.5 FM and KJOY-98.3 FM will simulcast music during the show, which is included in the regular price of park admission, which is $10 per vehicle.
New York State Parks Commissioner Erik Kulleseid said, “What better way to celebrate Independence Day and kick off the summer than to watch fireworks on the beach. I am grateful for the support of Jovia Financial Credit Union and all of our sponsors for supporting this summer tradition that brings so many families and friends together at Jones Beach State Park.”
This year’s program is also made possible through support from the Natural Heritage Trust, Foundation for Long Island State Parks Inc., Captree Boatman’s Association, Newsday, Connoisseur Media Long Island and J & B Restaurant Partners.
