dollar-tree-will-offer-more-expensive-items-up-to-$5-dollars

Dollar Tree has announced that it is going to sell more products that cost more than $1 dollar. Now you can find frozen food, bread and other items at Dollar Tree for $3, $4 and $5.

Dollar Tree announced that the changes will be made in thousands of its branches.

The decision comes after Dollar Tree raised prices to $1.25 at some stores in 2019, later extending the increase to 2,500 stores last year.

The company plans to apply the new prices to 4,300 stores, but customers will still be able to purchase certain items for $1.25.

It should be noted that around 300 to 400 products will go back to just $1, according to director of merchandising Rick McNeely, according to The Sun US

Thanks to the price increases, Dollar Tree will be able to offer a wider variety of products, giving customers a more complete shopping experience.

In May, Dollar Tree began offering refrigerated and frozen items to 140 select stores priced from $3 to $5.
