The low season of European football continues its course and the controversial case of Kylian Mbappé and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) continues to be the most talked about topic, especially after what appears to be a break between the player and the team. Given this, both parties have agreed to an urgent meeting to clarify the situation.
According to the Spanish newspaper ‘Marca’, the team of representatives of Mbappé led by his mother Fayza Lamari, will visit the offices of the Parque de los Príncipes this Friday to meet with the directors of PSG and reach a definitive agreement to put an end to this controversy.
However, this seems to be the first of many meetings between the two parties before reaching an agreement, as happened last year when they negotiated for months to get the player to sign a contract renewal while he had Real Madrid as clear option to continue his career.
But it was precisely that contract renewal that today has become a problem, mainly for the Parisian team. And it is that the French striker has let it be known that he will not activate the option that he has in his contract to renew automatically until 2025.
This means that Kylian Mbappé will be able to go free at the end of next season, something that PSG does not want to allow and has put two options on the table: Renew until 2025 or it will be sold this summer, something that Madrid is very attentive to, although without making any movement at the moment.
Pretender in the Premier League
On the other hand, since the Premier League, Liverpool have joined Real Madrid as another strong suitor for ‘Donatello’ and according to indications from England, they would be close to presenting an offer of up to $300 million dollars to sign the 24-year-old player. .
