Some millionaire now has the opportunity to invest in a residence in Sebastopol, California, which was the home and studio of the famous American cartoonist Charles Schulz.
The property entered the real estate market at a cost of $3.95 million dollars. Although the place is known for having been the studio of the creator of the hit comic strip ‘Peanuts’, the man who bought the place in 1976 did not seek to maintain the legacy of the property and turned the studio into just another room.
Despite the changes it has undergone over the years, the place continues to keep stories of a man known to recent generations thanks to his characters. An example of the legacy is on a bench in the property’s courtyard, where Snoopy and Woodstock are sculpted.
On the other hand, it must be said that the place is in perfect condition and that it is the ideal refuge for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of big cities.
The cabin-like main house was constructed of redwood, fir, and local lava stone. It has an extension of 1,484 square feet distributed in a room, a bathroom, hall, living room, kitchen and other amenities.
Of the interior, it is worth mentioning its vaulted ceilings, exposed wooden beams, stone fireplace and granite countertops in the kitchen.
Outside there are extensive green areas with a dining room, terrace, ponds, golf course and trees of all kinds. The place is ideal for walking and resting.
