Mexican midfielder Érick Gutiérrez decided to put an end to his stay in European football to seal his signing with Chivas de Guadalajara this Sunday and become his new reinforcement for the 2023 Liga MX Opening Tournament.
Gutiérrez, who has been a member of PSV Eindhoven since 2018 and enjoyed constant ownership at the club, did not miss the offer of sports manager Fernando Hierro who sought to give Chivas’ midfield more solidity.

This will be Gutiérrez’s second experience in Liga MX after making his debut with Pachuca in 2014, with which he won a league title and a Concacaf Champions League.
Regarding his career with the Dutch, Gutiérrez won two Dutch Cups and two Super Cups while with Mexico, Erick has won a Gold Cup, in addition to playing in the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games.
