man-craves-chicken-and-it-helps-him-win-$500,000-in-the-lottery

A Fordyce, Arkansas man won a half-million-dollar early birthday present courtesy of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery’s Scholarship Lottery’s 200X instant-play lottery game, all because he craved chicken.

The man, named LC Brown, who will soon be turning 65, recently went to claim his $500,000 lottery prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery claim center.

The ticket that gave him the prize only cost him $20 dollars.

Brown bought his lottery ticket at a store called Bailey’s Mobile, which is located at 2235 US 79 in Fordyce. After this prize is won, there are still two $500,000 prizes available in 200X Instant Play.

“I stopped at Bailey’s for chicken and decided to buy a lottery ticket while I was there. I knew I had won big when all the bells and sirens started blaring after I gave the store clerk my ticket to confirm my win,” said the lucky winner.

Despite having won an enormous amount of money that would have a significant impact on his life, the man said he kept his cool throughout. The first thing he did was share the news of his victory with his brother, Frank.

Now the lucky winner plans to save his new fortune and keep working.

“I work for a logging company and I don’t plan to retire now because I enjoy being active,” Brown told lottery officials.
