Some journalists in the United States have paid special attention to Bob Iger, the current CEO of The Walt Disney Company. Recently ‘New York Post’ reported that the businessman is in the process of remodeling his mansion in Brentwood, California, at the same time that hundreds of employees are laid off from ESPN.
By April of this year, the company reported that they would begin laying off around 4,000 workers across all divisions: ESPN, Disney Entertainment and Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.
According to ‘New York Post’, Iger has spent nearly $7 million on various changes to the residence he bought in 1995 and shares with his wife, the journalist Willow Bay.
Iger bought this property 28 years ago for $19.5 million dollars and all these years he has made all kinds of changes in order to make the place the perfect place for him and his family.
The property is built on a 2-acre lot and the main house has an area of 7,400 square feet distributed in seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, hall, living room, main room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and other amenities.
The couple’s renovations are said to have included the construction of a new two-story stable and the addition of a spa.
In addition there are several extra structures to the main house that serve as a guest house, storage and any other needs of the owners.
