According to local information, Neymar will have to cancel a total of $3.3 million dollars (16 million reais) for having sought to expand the gardens of his mansion with an artificial lake and which in the end had to be suspended by the authorities.

In addition to this, the improvement included an expansion in his private garden, which broke with local regulations against the environment.

Although the sentence of the fine to Neymar dates from this Monday, two weeks ago the residence was visited by the environmental authorities, who discovered various irregularities, seized the works and prohibited the use of the lake, a decision that Neymar later failed to comply with, according to published videos. on the internet with images of a party that he offered a few days later.

Among the irregularities detected are the diversion of the course of some streams, the unauthorized collection of water from a river, prohibited excavations, irregular movement of rocks and earth, and the use of sand from the beach near the house.

The works were being carried out in the Aero Rural condominium, neighboring Portobello, where the player has another luxurious mansion of about 5,000 square meters.

At the moment Neymar has not commented on the sanction but the Brazilian footballer is at the property recovering from a long injury that kept him from the last stretch of the season with PSG.
